We are in search of an experienced Electrical Grid Specialist to join our dedicated team in Durban. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of electrical grids and sustainable energy solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient energy distribution and infrastructure development.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of grid resilience improvement projects.
• Utilize advanced modeling tools to simulate grid behavior under various conditions.
• Act as the primary contact for utility stakeholders and government agencies.
• Review and approve designs for grid-related projects.
• Support data analysis efforts related to energy consumption and savings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Advanced qualification in Energy Management is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in the energy sector

• Load Flow Analysis
• SCADA Systems

• Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
