We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will focus on developing and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Research and implement the latest technologies in chemical engineering.
• Actively participate in audits and compliance assessments.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve raw material quality.
• Develop process flow diagrams and P&IDs for new installations.
• Help to manage budgets and project timelines effectively.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field
• Master's degree is a strong advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in chemical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
