Join us as a Desktop Support Specialist! In this role, you will be the go-to person for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues that users face daily. Your contributions will help in maintaining a streamlined workflow while delivering excellent customer support. A solid understanding of IT systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for receiving customer issues regarding IT systems.
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
• Support the installation and configuration of new client systems.
• Perform routine checks on all IT equipment and evaluate performance.
• Document all interactions and resolutions in the internal ticketing system.
• Ensure proper functioning of peripherals like printers and scanners.
• Assist with IT inventory management and asset tracking.
• Deliver user training and guides on new hardware or software implementations.
• Work with management to identify areas for technical improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or relevant certification

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, help desk, or related roles

Technical Skills

• Experience with remote support tools
• Information security awareness

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration: Hands-on experience in managing Office 365 environments.
• Basic scripting knowledge: Ability to create basic scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
