The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both source and target languages, as well as experience in localization practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate content related to marketing, technical documents, and legal texts.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes.
• Attend and participate in team meetings to discuss project statuses.
• Ensure compliance with all client-specific formatting guidelines.
• Assist in the development of training materials for new translators.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Linguistics or Translation Studies
• Professional certification is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of experience in translation and localization projects

Technical Skills

• CAT tools
• Proofreading and editing

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting
• ISO 17100 Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
