Job Description

We are on the lookout for a knowledgeable Financial Planner to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. In this role, you will assess clients’ financial needs, create financial plans, and work closely with clients to build long-term wealth. A strong understanding of investment options and risk management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients' financial circumstances and develop plans to achieve their goals.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure they are on track.
• Attend networking events to expand client base and opportunities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and industry training.
• Advise on risk management, including insurance and portfolio diversification.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Economics or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial advisory or investment roles

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment
• Tax Planning

• Negotiation Skills
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered Investment Advisor (RIA)
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
