Job Description

We're looking for a passionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Durban. As a key player in our pharmacy, you will assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing customer service. Ideal candidates have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and label prescriptions as required.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
• Address and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Contribute to pharmacy marketing and promotional efforts.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
• Stay updated on current pharmacy practices and medication guidelines.
• Assist with administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting

• Medication Management

Certifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
