Join our growing team as an Architect in Cape Town. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for design and a passion for creating functional and aesthetic spaces. You will work on various projects, from residential to commercial, with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from conception through completion.
• Evaluate and analyze design alternatives.
• Coordinate with urban planners and landscape architects.
• Advise on the selection of materials and finishes.
• Maintain project records and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
• Present design ideas to clients using sketches and models.
• Assist in the preparation of contracts, tender documents, and specifications.
• Engage in continuous professional development to elevate architectural expertise.
• Utilize sustainable practices and innovations to enhance architectural solutions.
• Contribute to the development of design strategies that align with the client's vision.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in urban design and architecture

Technical Skills

• Archicad
• 3D Modeling Software

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Collaboration

Certifications

• SACAP Registration
• Certified Urban Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management software.: Familiarity with software for project scheduling and resource allocation.
