Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Mechanical Engineer to help us develop advanced mechanical systems. As part of our Johannesburg team, you will take part in multidisciplinary projects, ensuring both efficiency and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation by proposing new product ideas and modifications.
• Evaluate and select materials for mechanical components.
• Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers during product development.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Project Management certification is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in mechanical design and system validation

• FEA Software
• Thermal Analysis
• Mechanism Design

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
