Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical processes, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and contributing to product development.

Responsibilities

  • Design process flows and prepare process configurations.
  • Utilize modeling software to simulate chemical processes.
  • Review and approve engineering change requests.
  • Ensure quality control measures are implemented.
  • Support the scaling-up of laboratory process to industrial applications.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and advancements.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Master's degree in Process Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
