Job Description

We are seeking a Retail Manager to lead our Durban store. In this role, you'll oversee store operations, manage a dedicated team, and implement strategies to drive sales and ensure an outstanding shopping experience for our customers. Your leadership will be key in fostering a positive work environment and achieving our business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations and ensure staff adherence to company policies.
  • Motivate team members to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and manage promotional displays to enhance sales.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for stock management and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement staff development programs.
  • Engage with customers to establish strong relationships and loyalty.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to upper management.
  • Establish a positive shopping atmosphere by managing store layout and merchandising.
  • Enforce loss prevention measures to protect company assets.

Requirements

Education
  • Matriculation or equivalent
  • Degree in Retail Management or Business Administration preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in retail management or related field.
