Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Auditor to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insights to improve financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Participate in the development of auditing policies and procedures.
• Provide feedback to clients on best practices in financial reporting.
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure previous recommendations are implemented.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to financial integrity.
• Prepare for and participate in external audits by regulatory bodies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in auditing or finance

• Accounting Software

Certifications

• CIMA

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of IT audits: Experience with auditing IT processes and controls.
