Mental Health Counselor

Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor in our organization, your primary role will be to assist individuals in navigating their mental health concerns. You will implement evidence-based therapeutic practices and collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Implement evidence-based therapies tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct regular evaluations of client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Offer community resources and referrals for additional support services.
• Engage clients in discussions to promote insight and self-reflection.
• Participate in trainings and workshops to enhance therapeutic techniques.
• Actively contribute to the development of new programs and therapies within the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or a related field
• Postgraduate training in counseling is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of direct counseling experience.
