Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tax Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing strategic tax advice, ensuring compliance with South African revenue laws, and helping clients optimize their tax liabilities. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of local tax legislation and have a proven track record in tax planning and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review tax documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with legal teams to address compliance queries.
• Monitor legislative updates and impact on taxation policies.
• Prepare clients for upcoming tax legislation changes.
• Offer business advisory services related to taxation.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Manage inquiries related to tax transactions.
• Investigate tax-related issues and development of solutions.
• Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines in tax practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Master's degree in Taxation preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the tax field
