Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead our construction projects in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will coordinate site activities, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. As a vital part of our management team, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily briefings and site meetings to discuss progress and issues.
• Administer and manage site health and safety protocols.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and laws.
• Implement site policies and procedures for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor site performance and implement improvements.
• Develop a strong relationship with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and apprentices on site.
• Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration on site.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Degree in Construction Management is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor

Languages
