Pharmacist

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Agricultural Engineer to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will focus on improving agricultural practices through innovative engineering solutions, ensuring sustainability and productivity in farming systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
• Advise patients on medication management and potential interactions.
• Monitor patient health outcomes and adjust medications as necessary.
• Participate in health screenings and promotional activities.
• Strengthen community relationships through outreach programs.
• Support a culture of continuous learning within the pharmacy team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist in a retail environment

• Patient Counseling

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacist Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages with patients.
• Previous experience in a community pharmacy: Hands-on experience working in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
