Job Description

As a Tax Consultant, you will provide expert advice and services to individuals and businesses regarding their tax obligations. Your role involves preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and advising clients on effective tax strategies.

Responsibilities

• Research and interpret tax regulations and legislation.
• Help clients structure their transactions for optimal tax efficiency.
• Prepare and review tax documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with financial advisors and other professionals.
• Act as a liaison between clients and tax authorities.
• Conduct workshops on tax-saving strategies.
• Supervise the drafting of tax policies and procedures.
• Identify trends in tax legislation and implement them.
• Host client consultations to discuss tax issues.
• Assist with appeals and negotiations with tax authorities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CA(SA) or similar qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 4-6 years of experience in taxation or accounting

Technical Skills

• Tax Legislation Knowledge
• Accounting Software Proficiency

• ACCA Certification

Languages
