Full Stack Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to enhance our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end technologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will be involved in every aspect of the development cycle, from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using modern frameworks such as React and Node.js.
• Collaborate with the design and product teams to define application features and requirements.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and other services.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Conduct peer code reviews to maintain quality standards.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and suggest improvements where applicable.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Qualifications in Agile Methodologies are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in full-stack development with a strong portfolio of completed projects
