Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. In this role, you will be tasked with the structural design and analysis of new buildings and renovations, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all projects meet design and safety specifications. Your contributions will be vital to ensuring the successful and safe construction of innovative structures in our growing portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Create structural drawings and details using CAD software.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration for project success.
  • Evaluate construction methods and materials for suitability.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
  • Provide expert advice during the construction phase.
  • Assist in resolving on-site engineering issues promptly.
  • Stay current with building codes, standards, and technologies.
  • Prepare cost estimates and budget analysis for projects.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project updates.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role

  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Certifications
