Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Structural Engineer to join our Johannesburg office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they meet all structural and safety standards. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to generate comprehensive designs and reports.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop aerospace components and systems.
• Conduct performance and safety analyses on prototypes.
• Collaborate with designers and other engineers to refine product specifications.
• Assist in developing test plans and conducting experiments.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
• Document all engineering processes and updates.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and technological trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a related discipline is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in aerospace design and development

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
