Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Penetration Tester to join our dynamic cybersecurity team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in systems to enhance security measures. You will work collaboratively to produce detailed reports that highlight security weaknesses and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on various systems, applications, and networks.
• Simulate attacks to discover vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on findings with remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to reinforce defenses post-assessment.
• Stay up to date with the latest security trends and attack vectors.
• Develop scripts and tools to facilitate testing processes.
• Assist in developing security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Information Technology or related field
• Higher qualifications in Cybersecurity are advantageous

Experience

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity
