We are searching for a dedicated General Practitioner to join our growing team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in primary care, providing holistic and patient-centric healthcare. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various health issues while promoting health education and disease prevention.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular health assessments and advise on lifestyle changes.
• Diagnose and treat common diseases with a patient-centered approach.
• Provide vaccination and health screenings according to guidelines.
• Work with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Integrate mental health considerations into patient assessments.
• Participate in outreach programs to improve community health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and protocols.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and their families.
• Manage practice operations and administrative tasks.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in Family Medicine preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years experience in general practice or family medicine

Certifications

• Independent Practice Certificate (IPC)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
