Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will assess and diagnose hearing disorders, develop treatment plans, and provide rehabilitative care. You will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our patients through individualized care and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing assessments using state-of-the-art audiometric equipment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
• Provide follow-up care and adjust treatment as necessary.
• Educate patients on the implications of hearing loss and available resources.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a mentor for junior audiologists or interns.
• Promote awareness of hearing health in the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Audiology
• Master's degree in Audiology is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Hearing Rehabilitation
• Diagnostic Equipment Usage

• Attention to Detail
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Audiologist Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
