Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to assist in managing our logistics operations in Johannesburg. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating shipments, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your proactive approach will help us enhance our overall logistics effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of logistics plans and budgets.
• Coordinate with sales teams to ensure customer needs are met.
• Implement tracking systems to monitor shipment progress.
• Maintain records of all transactions and logistics activities.
• Identify and propose solutions for any logistic delays or concerns.
• Ensure proper documentation for each logistics operation.
• Liaise with customs for cross-border shipments.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and logistics partners.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles

• Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)
