Job Description

The Oil Floorhand will play a vital role in assisting with the drilling and maintenance of oil wells. The ideal candidate should possess physical strength and manual dexterity, along with the ability to adapt to various outdoors working conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-drilling equipment checks and maintenance.
• Assist with the onboarding of new team members regarding safety protocols.
• Ensure tools and equipment are clean and operational.
• Help with the transportation of equipment to and from drilling sites.
• Participate in training sessions on safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of drilling procedures
• Proficiency in using power tools

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Valid driver's license
• First Aid certification
• Basic Fire Fighting certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
