Job Description

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing projects that promote environmental sustainability. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of environmental policies and practices.
• Coordinate environmental education and awareness programs.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
• Assess the potential environmental impact of projects.
• Maintain records and reports on environmental compliance.
• Provide guidance on environmental sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting/engineering

• Environmental Modelling Software
• GIS Software

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
• English: Fluent
