Construction Manager

Job Description

Join our team as a Construction Manager, where you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process in Cape Town. You will ensure projects are completed efficiently within budget while maintaining safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage construction processes effectively.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Maintain project documentation and project tracking.
• Monitor compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Review and resolve construction issues as they arise.
• Supervise construction teams and assign responsibilities.
• Ensure procurement of materials on schedule and within budget.
• Manage client relationships and expectations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure alignment on goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Advanced diploma in Project Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in related roles

• Construction Planning

Certifications

• Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
