Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Accounting Solutions Inc. in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, and assisting with tax preparation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our financial transactions are processed accurately and timely, and will work closely with both clients and internal departments to deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and update financial records and paperwork.
  • Prepare year-end financial reports for auditors.
  • Assist in cost-tracking and budget management.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of all accounts.
  • Prepare and distribute invoices to clients promptly.
  • Monitor cash flow and report on variances.
  • Execute bookkeeping software entry and maintenance.
  • Provide support in financial forecasting.
  • Review purchase orders and verify expenses.
  • Support the Finance Manager in special projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
Technical Skills
  • Accounting Software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Microsoft Excel
