Facilities Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of our properties in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills and a deep understanding of property management best practices to ensure that all facilities are safe, well-maintained, and operationally efficient.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all maintenance and repair work on premises.
• Manage vendor contracts and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
• Develop training programs for new facility staff.
• Implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
• Prepare detailed reports on facility conditions and maintenance activities.
• Engage with tenants to enhance satisfaction and address issues.
• Assist in the procurement of facility-related supplies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance schedules and project timelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
• Additional certifications in project management are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in facilities management or related field
