Job Description

Join our vibrant team as a Mixing and Blending Machine Operator. You will play a key role in operating blending equipment, monitoring production processes, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee the mixing tumbler to ensure materials are blended correctly.
• Regularly perform preventative maintenance on blending machinery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during operations.
• Document production outputs and report discrepancies to supervisors.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in operating mixing equipment is preferred

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Experience with operating mixing equipment

Soft Skills

• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of HACCP principles: Understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point principles in food safety.
• Ability to operate forklifts: Certification or training in operating forklifts for material handling.
