Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sawing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender for our wood manufacturing department. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating sawing machines to produce high-quality wood products. Your attention to detail and passion for woodworking will ensure the success of our production team.

Responsibilities

  • Operates various types of sawing machinery and ensures proper setup.
  • Conducts checks on raw materials for quality control.
  • Troubleshoots minor machine issues and reports major faults.
  • Tracks production metrics and reports any concerns to management.
  • Works with team members to improve production efficiency.
  • Participates in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Keeps the work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Assists in the selection of appropriate materials for projects.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate in woodworking or machinery operation is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in wood processing or machining
