Job Description

As a Petroleum Refinery Operator at PetroTech Industries, you will monitor and maintain various petroleum refining equipment, ensuring that processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your role is crucial in turning crude oil into valuable products like gasoline and diesel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the entire refining process through computerized systems.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain accurate production and incident logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in root cause analysis of any production issues.
• Contribute to the training and development of junior staff.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for upper management.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years in a refinery or similar environment.
