Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Bloemfontein team. In this role, you will facilitate the rehabilitation of patients with various physical and mental health challenges, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. Ideal candidates will have a passion for patient care and an understanding of therapeutic techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients to determine appropriate therapies to enhance daily living skills.
  • Develop and execute creative treatment plans that incorporate patient interests.
  • Engage with patients through various therapeutic activities.
  • Establish rapport with patients to foster a supportive therapy environment.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in staff training and professional development sessions.
  • Research and implement innovative therapy techniques.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical settings
