Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Auditor to join our talented team in Cape Town. The successful applicant will be responsible for examining and evaluating financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead audits of financial statements and internal processes.
• Review compliance with relevant laws and accounting principles.
• Prepare thorough documentation of audit results for review.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments to gather necessary information.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial practices.
• Train and mentor junior auditors as needed.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions from previous audits.
• Follow up with departments on outstanding audit issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or relevant field
• Master's degree in Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in auditing or accounting

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV)
