Responsibilities

• Perform routine check-ups and health assessments for pets.
• Maintain a clean and organized veterinary facility.
• Serve as a primary contact for pet owners regarding care inquiries.
• Update owners on treatment options and progress of their pets.
• Ensure all veterinary practices adhere to ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
• Specialization in small animals is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of veterinary experience

Certifications

• South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) Certification
• Advanced Life Support for Animals Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience with holistic treatments: Knowledge of alternative medicine practices for animals.
