Tax Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Tax Consultant to join our Pretoria office. In this role, you will provide clients with tax planning, preparation, and compliance services. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of current tax regulations and the ability to communicate complex tax issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients are compliant with all relevant tax legislation.
• Prepare comprehensive tax reports and presentations for clients.
• Consult on international tax issues as needed.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their implications for clients.
• Provide training and support for clients regarding tax issues.
• Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Taxation or Accounting
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of direct taxation experience

• Tax Research

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• International Tax Certificate
• Registered Tax Practitioner (RTP) is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Tswana: Conversational
