Quantitative Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Analyst to join our team in Sandton. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing quantitative models to guide strategic financial decisions, working closely with our finance and analytics departments.

Responsibilities

• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to assess performance.
• Collaborate with finance teams on variance analysis.
• Design methodologies for data collection and analysis.
• Implement best practices for risk management through quantitative frameworks.
• Provide training on quantitative analysis tools to team members.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
• Document processes and methodologies for transparency.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years in quantitative analysis or related financial services
