Job Description

The Mixing and Blending Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of sand cutting equipment, ensuring high-quality sand products are produced. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Setup and calibrate sand cutting machines for production runs.
• Inspect machines for defects or issues before operation.
• Document production data and report on daily outputs.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to address equipment malfunctions.
• Implement best practices for waste reduction and efficiency.
• Train and mentor junior staff in machine operations.
• Maintain logs of maintenance and machine performance.
• Prepare materials for blending and ensure accurate measurements.
• Follow all health and safety regulations on the production floor.

Requirements

Education

• Technical or mechanical qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 2 years of experience in the sand cutting industry preferred.

Technical Skills

• Heavy machinery operation
• Process control

• Attention to safety
