Job Description

As a Public Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in the development and implementation of community health programs. You will assess health needs, develop strategies for health promotion, and work closely with local stakeholders to address health disparities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate public health programs to ensure alignment with community needs.
  • Conduct research to inform evidence-based practices.
  • Engage in outreach activities to promote health education in the community.
  • Monitor health indicators and report on community health status.
  • Foster partnerships with local organizations to enhance program reach.
  • Utilize social media and other platforms for health promotion.
  • Organize and lead community health workshops and seminars.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or community health work
