Job Description

We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Durban. This role will involve providing technical support to clients and ensuring smooth IT operations. You will interact with diverse clients and troubleshoot various IT issues, making every day unique and challenging.

Responsibilities

• Support users with various IT inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Help manage IT inventory and assist with procurement.
• Document support activities and ensure knowledge sharing.
• Train end-users on new systems and technologies.
• Assist in the implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Monitor network performance and report issues.
• Conduct routine audits of IT systems.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with users.
• Collaborate with vendors for hardware and software support.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support

• Linux Operating Systems
