Job Description

We are in search of a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in Pretoria. This role involves working closely with patients to enhance their ability to perform daily activities and improve their quality of life. You will be responsible for developing personalized treatment plans and implementing therapeutic techniques for various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Ideal candidates should have a strong understanding of rehabilitation strategies and be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations to determine clients' cognitive, physical, and emotional abilities.
• Develop effective treatment plans utilizing therapeutic modalities and exercises.
• Participate in case conferences and contribute to a team-based approach to client care.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
• Document patient progress and communicate findings to the relevant healthcare team members.
• Promote community integration for patients through rehabilitation programs and activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Certification in rehabilitation techniques is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in occupational therapy
