Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend materials and equipment for construction projects.
• Interface with local authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Implement health and safety measures on site to protect workers.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure standard practices are followed.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and proposals.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in civil engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Project
• Geotechnical Engineering

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
