Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our Johannesburg practice. As a GP, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various health conditions, providing preventive care, and educating patients on maintaining their health. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate bedside manner, and a commitment to community health.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and analyze results to inform treatment plans.
• Act as a point-of-contact for patient referrals to specialists.
• Provide patients with clear instructions and follow-up care.
• Participate in health campaigns and community outreach.
• Assure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Mentor and train junior staff and medical interns when necessary.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Engage with families to provide holistic care.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Postgraduate training or fellowship in family medicine preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of diverse clinical experience in a primary care setting
