Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our Johannesburg practice. As a GP, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various health conditions, providing preventive care, and educating patients on maintaining their health. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate bedside manner, and a commitment to community health.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient health through comprehensive assessments.
  • Manage chronic illnesses and coordinate long-term care plans.
  • Conduct routine physical examinations and offer wellness checks.
  • Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Develop strong rapport with patients to foster a supportive environment.
  • Participate in continuous medical education and professional development.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and data privacy.
  • Support healthcare initiatives to promote community wellness.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate training or fellowship in family medicine preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of diverse clinical experience in a primary care setting
