As a Veterinary Surgeon at Veterinary Clinic A, you'll play a key role in enhancing the lives of animals through your expertise. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues.
• Perform surgeries, including routine procedures and emergencies.
• Administer vaccinations and preventative care.
• Educate pet owners on proper pet care and nutrition.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with a team of veterinary technicians and support staff.
• Stay updated with advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Manage anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
• Handle emergencies and provide first aid during critical situations.
• Participate in community outreach programs for pet health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in clinical veterinary practice
