Job Description

We are in search of a Tax Specialist to enhance our Durban team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of South African tax law, and the ability to develop effective tax strategies. Responsibilities include preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance, and offering strategic advice to clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough tax research to identify and apply relevant tax laws.
• Prepare documentation for tax filings, audits, and appeals.
• Review and analyze client financial statements for tax implications.
• Teach clients about best practices in tax management.
• Cooperate with external consultants as necessary for complex tax situations.
• Prepare risk assessments related to tax exposure and liabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Master's degree or equivalent experience in Taxation is advantageous

Experience

• At least 5 years in a similar role within the taxation field
