Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our company’s systems and data from cyber threats. You will analyze security incidents, monitor network traffic, and implement security measures to safeguard sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities in systems and applications through testing.
• Collaborate with teams to rectify security issues.
• Keep abreast of emerging cybersecurity technologies and threats.
• Assist in incident response and disaster recovery planning.
• Engage with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Review and update security documentation and incident reports regularly.
• Develop and maintain a security awareness program.
• Participate in security strategy meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ are desirable

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role
