Job Description

As a Clinical Research Associate, your mission will be to support clinical trials in our Cape Town office. You will play a vital role in safeguarding patient welfare and ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. We value your expertise in navigating regulatory landscapes as you assist in the development of innovative treatments and therapies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the coordination of clinical trial activities in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Evaluate and report adverse events and ensure patient safety.
  • Review and monitor trial budgets and timelines in conjunction with project managers.
  • Conduct data analysis and contribute to study publications.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • Help ensure proper training of new Clinical Research Associates.
  • Monitor and address any issues that arise at study sites.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • PhD degree is desirable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical trial management
