The Dry-Cell Assembly Supervisor will lead the team responsible for the assembly and production of dry-cell batteries. This role is pivotal for maintaining production quality, managing operational workflows, and driving process improvements.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the assembly team to ensure optimal performance.
Perform quality checks and audits to maintain high standards.
Manage resource allocation and workflow in the production area.
Implement training programs for new hires and existing staff.
Develop and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
Ensure effective communication flow between assembly and other departments.
Document and report on production metrics and issues.
Promote a culture of safety and adherence to operational protocols.
Encourage continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the assembly department.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing Management
Experience
5+ years in a manufacturing supervisory position
