Data Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst who is enthusiastic about data and its potential. The successful candidate will assist in the analysis and interpretation of data trends, work on data quality checks, and develop dashboards for ongoing reporting purposes. Proficiency in data visualization tools will be an asset as you'll be expected to present findings to management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Work with management to prioritize and implement data-driven solutions.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed and provide concise reports.
• Support data validation and documentation processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, or related fields
• Advanced degree is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in data analysis

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
• Data Science Certification from relevant institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Exposure to data warehousing solutions: Experience in working with data warehousing architectures.
• Certification in advanced analytics tools: Certifications in analytics tools like SAS or similar would be a plus.
