Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work with mentally impaired students. The ideal candidate will create and implement individualized education plans, fostering a nurturing environment that caters to each student's unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
• Encourage social and emotional development through group activities and individualised support.
• Monitor and manage classroom behavior to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assist students with personal care needs as required.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching strategies and approaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field
• Certification in Special Education preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with mental disabilities
