Bobbin Drier

Job Description

The Bobbin Drier will be responsible for operating and maintaining the drying equipment for bobbins used in the textile industry. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products meet quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control drying cycles for optimal performance.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and take corrective action as required.
• Assist in the calibration of drying equipment.
• Ensure that dried bobbins meet quality assurance standards.
• Record and report any equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Work closely with Quality Control Inspectors to ensure compliance.
• Contribute to team meetings discussing potential improvements.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certificate in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience operating drying equipment in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with textile machines: Hands-on experience operating textile drying equipment.
• Quality control experience: Knowledge of inspection methods in a manufacturing environment.
